One of the oldest established vehicle hire companies in South Wales, Charter Vehicle Hire became part of the James & Jenkins family in 1991. Operating nearly 250 daily rental vehicles from our three sites in Cardiff, Bridgend and Pontypridd we offer quality cars, vans and minibuses of all shapes and sizes. All can be hired for a day, a month or a year with business and personal accounts welcomed. We also offer Continental hire on all our vehicles with Clubs and associations a speciality; going to France..?..give us a call.

As part of a family owned and run business Charter endeavours to provide a personal service and a modern fleet of vehicles at an affordable price. If there’s a specific vehicle you need then please ask, we can accommodate most requirements: 4x4’s, fridge units, towbars, dropside pickups, all can be provided, to name but a few.

Ford and Vauxhall provide the bulk of our Fleet but we also stock Mercedes and Renault amongst others. A drop off delivery service can also be arranged as well as the more traditional arrangement of visiting either the James & Jenkins complex in Llandaff North, Cardiff (just 2 miles from J32 M4/A470) , at the rear of Brackla Street Shopping Centre in the heart of Bridgend or at Bakery Garage on the Maritime Industrial Estate in Pontypridd.
